
Attention 9th, 10th and 11th Graders:
Tuesday, Dec. 8th is Make - Up Picture Day for our onsite students.
It is also the day for our virtual students to come onsite to have their picture taken as well.
The schedule below is for both virtual and onsite students for pictures;
1st and 2nd period- 11th graders
3rd and 4th period- 10th graders
5th and 6th period- 9th graders
7th and 8th period- anyone else who needs one/ couldn't come in the morning times.
Virtual Students- please sign in through student services before coming down to the auditorium for your picture. Please also sign out through student services after you have your picture taken.
Onsite Students ( students on campus at PHS) - please wait for your grade/group to be called to go to the auditorium. We will call you out by grade and by last name during the class times mentioned above.

Please be aware that if you are currently quarantined then we ask that you not come on campus for this. If you are quarantined and you still need a photo for the yearbook please email our yearbook sponsor, Mrs. Burdin at tburdin@paragouldschools.net

Attention PHS Juniors and Seniors:
Tomorrow ( Dec. 2nd) Brown’s Graduation will be at PHS for Juniors who ordered a class ring and have paid the remaining balance of the ring. If they still have a balance on the ring they can pay that remaining balance in person tomorrow and receive it. Brown’s Graduation will also be able to take orders for a class ring from any Junior that needs to.
Brown’s Graduation will also be at PHS tomorrow ( Dec. 2nd) to take orders from Seniors to order their Cap and Gown and any other items they may want for graduation as well.

Tonight's 8th grade boys' basketball game is cancelled.

Today: 8th boys, Jr. girls, Jr. boys (H) vs. West Memphis East @ 5:00.
Tuesday: JV and Varsity boys (A) vs. Mtn. Home @ 5:00.
Varsity girls (H) vs. Blytheville @ 6:00.
Thursday: 8th boys, Jr. girls, Jr. boys (A) vs. West Memphis West @ 5:00.
Friday: 7th, Jr., and Sr. boys (A) vs. Blytheville @ 5:00.
Varsity girls (A) vs Helena West Helena @ 6:00.

Students, when you arrive at school, you may not sit in your cars. Grades 9 and 10, go directly to the gym, and grades 11 and 12, go directly to the cafeteria. Students also may not go to their cars during the day without permission from an administrator. Both situations are considered out of area.

The Advanced Learning Program is hosting a free ACT Boot Camp on Saturday, December 5, from 8:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.. at PHS. Email Karen Snyder at ksnyder@paragoulschools.net to register.

The 7th grade game vs. Manila tonight has been cancelled. The Sr. Boys Varsity game will be played starting @ 6:00.
Friday night's games with Brookland have been cancelled as well.

Junior high boys' basketball updates:
Tonight's (11/16) 7th grade boys and junior high boys basketball games at Brookland have been cancelled. We will try to reschedule at a later date.
Tomorrow's (11/17) game at Manila will be only 7th grade boys and senior high varsity. Games start at 6:00.
The boys' home game next Monday (11/23) vs. Valley View will be 7th grade, PHS junior varsity, and PHS senior varsity. Games at 5:00.

PJHS & PHS students who are transitioning to virtual learning Monday, November 16 through Friday, November 20 may pick up meals each day at PJHS Front Hall Side Entrance (10:30-12:00).
Regular, weekly pre-ordered virtual meals will be served on Monday as normal.

PJHS and PHS students will be virtual next week, November 16-20. Students will Zoom at the regular class period times from home. Students should check email and Google Classroom often.

Christmas break is December 21-January 1. Students will return to school on January 4.

November 23-27 is fall break. Enjoy the time off and stay safe!

Today is Veterans' Day. Students have a Veterans' Day program to view that NHS students prepared under the direction of Mrs. Huffmaster, NHS sponsor. Ask a student to share it with you! It's a wonderful tribute to our veterans.

Paragould High School teacher Stephanie Edwards-Cooper was recently named one of only nine recipients of a Parsons-Burnett Scholarship from Arkansas Retired Teachers Association. The scholarship is awarded by competitive application to practicing teachers who enable successful student outcomes with innovative, engaging teaching methods. Ms. Edwards-Cooper plans to use her award to pursue her master's degree in Gifted, Talented, and Creative Education at ASU-Jonesboro. Congratulations!
