Congratulations to PHS Junior, Brody Nicley, who was recently named to the All-State Cast at the Arkansas State Thespian Society’s Annual One-Act Competition. Brody was selected by a panel of judges during the PHS performance of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde. He was chosen for his portrayal of the lead character in the play. Yesterday, Paragould High School seniors met with representatives from Nucor, the largest steel producer in the United States!
Nucor leaders shared their company’s core values, impressive employment opportunities, relocation options across the country, and details about their paid internship program available to graduating seniors. Students learned how Nucor invests in its team members and supports long-term career growth in the steel industry.
We were also joined by Arkansas Northeastern College, who highlighted their Steel Technology program, now offered in Jonesboro on the A-State campus. This program provides specialized training that can open the door to high-demand, high-paying careers—right here in our region.
A big thank-you to Nucor and ANC for investing in our students' futures and helping them explore exciting pathways after graduation!

The Paragould Esports team has once again made an incredible run, reaching the state semifinals for the second year in a row! Our talented Rams will take on Bentonville in Hot Springs on Monday, December 8, and the excitement is building. We couldn’t be more proud of our students and the hard work they’ve put in. Go Rams!
