
Congratulations to the many students who had qualifying scores on AP tests last year. They were celebrated this quarter and Mrs. Minor even made good on a promise to "tattoo" the initials of students on her arm who made a qualifying score. We have the BEST students and staff! 2022-23 Sophomores earned more than $2,200 in scholarships; 2022-23 Juniors earned more than $4,800 in scholarships; and 2022-23 Seniors snagged more than $6,100 in scholarships! Like we said, we have the BEST students and staff!









Paragould 7-12 ALP students present their very own Entrepreneur Day! On November 13, 2023 from 9:30am to 1:30pm in the PHS band complex, 19 different businesses will be selling their products to you! Items will be for sale from $0.50 up to $5 each. Come prepared next Monday to shop and purchase your favorite products. You won't be disappointed! Where else can you buy homemade merchandise for this low cost?

If you are the parent of a home schooled child who resides in the Paragould School District and has/had an IEP in a public school setting, he or she may be eligible to receive equitable services through a service plan. JROTC is hosting the 2nd annual trick or treat event this Saturday, Oct. 28th. Due to the chance of rain, it will be held in the Paragould High School. Park in the main parking lot and enter through the main entrance. Open to the public and guaranteed to be SPOOKTACULAR!

Student first nine weeks report cards are now posted in Home Access Center (HAC) to view. To view report card grades in HAC go to the 'Grades' icon, then click on the 'Report Card' tab.

PHS is hosting the Regional Band Assessment at Ram Stadium, tomorrow, Monday, October 16th. There will be a large portion of the student parking lot blocked off for this event to accommodate visiting bands and spectators for this event. Much of the student parking will be located behind campus at 10 Fitness and ESS tomorrow.

Reminder: The Rams kickoff tonight at 7:00pm vs Forrest City. Following the game, the Homecoming Dance will take place from 9:30-11:30pm in the PHS cafeteria. Admission is $5 at the door, concessions will be available. Students below the 9th grade will not be admitted to the dance.

PHS just finished rotations for an enrichment week. Students got the option to participate in creating poetry, paintings, improv acting, robotics, creating their own hot sauce, and much more!

On September 16th several JROTC students participated in the Shiloh Land Navigation field trip. This experience provided an excellent opportunity for JROTC students to be presented with leadership challenges while being mentored by their instructors. Go rams!

PHS Seniors,
Prestige by Lifetouch will be here next Wednesday, September 20th for Senior picture makeups. This is for students who did NOT take their senior pictures during the July summer sessions. A student list has been sent out with a schedule for times to all of the seniors. Lifetouch will take Formal and Cap and Gown portraits. There is a $10 Sit Fee due at the time of your session. Prestige is our schools' official photographer. No other portrait will be accepted for the yearbook. Students who want their portrait taken again after this summer's sessions will have to pay an additional $10 Sit Fee. This will be the seniors last opportunity to take portraits.

PHS Juniors and Seniors:
Jostens will be back on campus this Friday, September 8th. Students will be able to place their orders for both graduation supplies and class rings. Please read the attached image for more information.
