Hello OGMS families! Please join us this Friday, March 15 for our 3rd quarter awards assemblies. These will be held in the gym at the following times:
6th grade: 8:45 am
5th grade: 10:00 am
3rd quarter music students will be performing with their flutaphones at the beginning of each assembly. Principal's list, honor roll, perfect attendance, special class, and Accelerated Reader awards will be given at each assembly.

Attention all parents/guardians of current 1st grade students who will go into 2nd grade for the 2024-25 school year. Click the link below to choose which ELEMENTARY school (Baldwin/Oak Grove Elementary/Woodrow Wilson) your student will attend next year. Fill out one survey per child going into 2nd grade. The online survey closes at 7:00pm on Thursday, March 14th.

Well, our village showed up and showed out and helped us PASS the bond restructure! We are beyond thankful to everyone who voted FOR the Rams! Let's continue to work together towards achieving our goals and driving the Paragould School District to new heights. Our village is strong! Great things are happening and even greater things are to come.

Have we told you lately how much we love our math classes? Our 6th grade math students spent some time outside on Friday of last week taking measurements of real-world objects and calculating the area of those objects.
Practical use + outside time = a WIN!

So proud of our OGMS students for making cards during Kindness week and then having our Community Service group get to hand them out to the residents at Belle Meade Cottages. The kids loved it but we believe the cottage residents enjoyed it the most. ONLY THE BEST AT OGMS!!
Hi OGMS families: Beginning tomorrow, students who bring water bottles to school will need to bring clear water bottles ONLY. Large cups with straws, tumblers, "coffee" thermoses, metal or non-transparent liquid containers will no longer be allowed on campus.

The District is currently exploring calendar options for the 2024-2025 school start date. We are asking for your feedback. Would you support efforts in seeking a waiver to start the 2024-2025 school year as soon as August 12, 2024, in place of August 19, 2024? Congratulations to our House winners in last weeks pep rally of the Houses! 6th grade House winner was Collins House and Gould House won 5th grade. ONLY THE BEST AT OGMS!
The Paragould Police Department is investigating a threatening note found on the Junior High School Campus. They have determined where the note originated and have arrested the student that wrote the note. The District encourages parents to speak with their children about the seriousness and potential consequences of making threats, even as a joke. All threats are taken seriously and investigated, and any students caught making threats may face possible criminal charges and expulsion from school. Student safety will always be paramount within the Paragould School District.
