If you have a female student entering 3rd grade through 6th grade, they need to attend the free volleyball camp each Monday night from July 7th til August 4th. All girls are welcome as they gain volleyball skills to prepare for our upcoming seasons. ONLY THE BEST AT OGMS!!

The dirt work is in full force at OGMS on our new athletic field. This will be a great addition and provide a great place for our students to get exercise while honing some athletic skills. ONLY THE BEST AT OGMS!

Significant progress is underway across multiple district construction projects. Parking lot enhancements begin Monday, June 16th at Paragould High School. There will be no access to PHS from Court Street. All access to our band and athletic facilities will be from Medical Drive. PHS summer school students can be dropped off in front of the Junior High and faculty/staff can park in the PJHS parking lot. The map gives all of the details and drop off points for students. Thank you for your patience as we make these much needed improvements! Project completion date is scheduled for August 1st.

OGMS wishes everyone a super summer. If your child did not receive their awards at last weeks awards assembly, we have those awards in the office. These will be available for two weeks but, after that time, they will be recycled. Have a great summer. ONLY THE BEST AT OGMS!

Our Academic/Athletic summer camp registration is OPEN now through Thursday 5/22/25. This is a one week summer camp offered AT NO COST to PSD students who completed kindergarten through 5th grade during the 2024-25 school year. Breakfast, lunch, and transportation are provided as well as academic and athletic instruction. Camp dates are July 14 - 17. Registration confirmation will be sent via email. The OGMS yearbook signing party is TOMORROW! Students who have already ordered a yearbook will get their yearbooks during that time; students who have not yet purchased one still have the chance! Paragould School District administration will be watching the weather very closely on Wednesday, April 2. If severe storms impact our area prior to dismissal, or if the storms have the potential to impact our area during afternoon bus routes, we may need to modify dismissal plans. Notification of any changes to the normal dismissal plans will be communicated via text and push notification on the PSD app. Notifications will also be posted on Facebook, KAIT8, and through local radio stations.
