REVISED DROP OFF LOCATIONS BEGINNING THURSDAY, JULY 17.

Parking lot improvements are well underway across the secondary campus. We have attached a document that outlines the next phase of this project, including important drop off information for students, parents, and staff.

Students participating in activities in the junior high main gym and the junior high double gym should be dropped off in front of the junior high school.

Students participating in activities in the band complex, the senior high main gym, or the field house should use the drop off location next to the new band complex.

We are excited to share that the high school parking lot is scheduled to be completed by Friday, July 25. This is one week ahead of schedule! The attached map provides all the details and designated drop off points to help you navigate these changes smoothly.

Significant progress is underway across multiple district construction projects. Construction of the new arena is progressing as scheduled, with the foundation work now underway following the successful installation of geopiers. Crews have begun plumbing and pouring footings, which lay the groundwork for the next phase. The concrete pad will be poured next, marking a major milestone in the development of this exciting project. Construction of the new baseball and softball turf fields is well underway. These facilities will also receive comprehensive upgrades, including enhanced broadcasting capabilities, improved dugouts, new press boxes, additional seating, shading structures, and modern sound systems. New display signage will be installed on site in the near future. Sod from the baseball and softball fields will be repurposed to create a new practice field at Oak Grove Middle School, with installation scheduled for June. This will create a very nice activity surface for the Oak Grove campus. Additionally, the high school parking lot project has started. This extensive effort includes demolition of existing lots, installation of storm drainage systems, soil stabilization, aggregate base application, and installation of curbs, gutters, sidewalks, asphalt paving, and final signage. This project is slated for completion by August 1. These improvements reflect the district’s continued commitment to enhancing educational and athletic facilities for students, staff, and the community. Parking lot enhancements begin Monday, June 16th at Paragould High School. There will be no access to PHS from Court Street. All access to our band and athletic facilities will be from Medical Drive. PHS summer school students can be dropped off in front of the Junior High and faculty/staff can park in the PJHS parking lot. The map gives all of the details and drop off points for students. Thank you for your patience as we make these much needed improvements! Project completion date is scheduled for August 1st.

Our Academic/Athletic summer camp registration is OPEN now through Thursday 5/22/25. This is a one week summer camp offered AT NO COST to PSD students who completed kindergarten through 5th grade during the 2024-25 school year. Breakfast, lunch, and transportation are provided as well as academic and athletic instruction. Camp dates are July 14 - 17. Registration confirmation will be sent via email. 🧁💐 You’re Invited: Muffins with Moms at S21C! 💐🧁 We’re excited to celebrate the amazing women in our students' lives! Please join us for Muffins with Moms this Friday, May 9th from 2:00–2:30 PM at S21C. Whether you're a mom, grandma, aunt, or another special role model, we’d love for you to join your little one for a sweet treat and special time together. 💕 📌 Please note: We kindly ask that no more than 2 adults per child attend due to space limitations.
