The school offices will be closed on Friday, April 10th in observance of Good Friday. Hope you all have a great weekend! Our offices will reopen Monday, April 13th at 7:30am.
Beginning Monday, April 13, there will be a drop box placed in front of the Junior High for completed AMI paper packets. Please make sure the student name and teacher name are on each packet. Packets may be dropped off between 7:30-4:00 Monday through Friday.
Amazon has canceled the subscription of books and audio stories for children and students of all ages as long as schools are closed.

PSD's AMI Plan following this week has been posted to the school website. Homeroom teachers have been making contact with parents this week to communicate this plan. If a paper packet is needed for your student, they will be available in front of the PJHS lobby beginning tomorrow at 8:00am.
Students will complete AMI assignments 6-10 this week (March 30-April 3). Packets were handed out to students prior to school dismissing, electronic copies can be found under the 'lesson plan' tab on the school district website.
PSD will be closed March 16 through March 27. Students are to complete days 1-5 of the AMI packets next week. March 23-27 is spring break; therefore, no coursework is required during that week. Please watch for more information regarding meals for students.
All students should have AMI assignments for 10 days, these have been handed out by classroom teachers. The AMI assignments for each teacher are also posted on the school district website under the 'Lesson Plan' tab.
Per Governor Hutchinson and Secretary Key, the CDC has recommended to ADH that schools remain open unless the area is impacted by a positive test of COVID-19. PSD will continue to prepare for closure should ADH make the decision to close the district in the future.
Tomorrow, Tuesday March 10th, the Paragould High School Jr. Class is holding a prom fundraiser at Huddle House from 5pm - 10pm. 20% of the profit will go the Jr. Class for prom.

This week is the last week of the 3rd Nine Weeks. Report cards will be sent home next Friday (March 20th).
The Jr. Lady Rams basketball team will play in the district tournament championship game tomorrow at 2:00pm in the PHS gym. Come cheer on your Jr. Lady Rams!!
The Jr. Lady Rams basketball team will take on West Memphis Wonder this evening at 4:00pm in the Senior High gym. Come out to support your Jr. Lady Rams!
We will have a pep-rally today during 7th period (1:33-2:23) for both the Boys and Girls basketball teams. It will take place in the Jr. High gym, parents are welcome to attend by signing in the Jr. High office.
The Boys and Girls basketball teams will both play in the second round of the district tournament today. The Jr. Girls tip-off at 4:00pm and the Jr. Boys game will begin at 5:30pm. These games will take place in the PHS gym.
Parent-Teacher conferences will take place this evening from 4:00-7:00pm. Computers are set up by the library entrance for a brief parent survey. If you are unable to attend the survey link is posted on the school website under the 'News' tab.
