Second graders at OGE recently took part in the exciting 2024 Potato Olympics, a thrilling finale to their fascinating studies of ancient Greece! These young athletes embraced the spirit of competition as they engaged in events inspired by the timeless traditions of the original Olympic Games. To make the experience even more memorable, the students delighted their taste buds with delicious olives and tangy feta cheese, truly immersing themselves in the rich culture of Greece. It was a day filled with laughter, athleticism, and a celebration of learning!

In an exciting classroom experiment, second graders put their scientific skills to the test with a fascinating hypothesis: would a pumpkin sink or float? With eager minds and curious hearts, they conducted the experiment, and the moment of truth arrived! To their delight, the pumpkin triumphantly floated on the water, proving their hypothesis right and filling the room with cheers of discovery!
