Congratulations to 2nd grade student Khalil Baker for being selected as the October Citizen of the Month by Mrs. Krissy! Khalil loves the color red, eating tacos, sour worms and playing with her friends at school. When she grows up she wants to be a hair stylist. Keep up the great work Khalil, OGE is so proud of you!

The student with the highest dollar amount of contributions from each grade level will be awarded a $100 Book Blast shopping spree. The student with the highest dollar amount of contributions in the school will be awarded an additional $100 Book Blast shopping spree. The shopping spree awards are a fun way to add more books to your student’s home library!

Congratulation Mariah Weathersby for being selected to be October Citizen of the Month! She is a fourth grade student at OGE in Mrs. Emily's homeroom. Mariah loves the color yellow, eating shrimp, chocolate candy and reading. Mariah believes that giving kindness to others makes the world a better place. Thanks for making OGE the place to be Mariah, we are so proud of you!


Way to work hard Bailey Evans! She was selected as October Citizen of the Month by her 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Nikki. Bailey's favorite things include the color "galaxy", eating chicken noodle soup, skittles and learning about science. She believes she can make an impact on the world by being nice and picking up trash. Congratulations Bailey!


Congratulations to Garrison Yarbrough, for being chosen as October Citizen of the Month by his 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Wendy. Garrison's favorite colors include the "Pillars of Creation" which he says has blue and "a lot of pretty colors". He also enjoys eating strawberries, roasted marshmallows and learning about astronomy and science. Garrison believes he can change the world by becoming a scientist and "creating something that has an unlimited power source, if it is possible". He is going places, keep up the hard word!

She loves the color blue, eating blueberries, Kit-Kats and doing science. Michelle believes in making the world better by getting rid of bullying. You have great character Michelle, keep up the hard work!

Pasha is a 4th grade student at OGE who loves the color teal, eating donut holes, tootsie rolls, and reading. Pasha wants to make the world better by helping people who have had their feelings hurt.
