Paragould School District administration will be watching the weather very closely on Wednesday, April 2. If severe storms impact our area prior to dismissal, or if the storms have the potential to impact our area during afternoon bus routes, we may need to modify dismissal plans. Notification of any changes to the normal dismissal plans will be communicated via text and push notification on the PSD app. Notifications will also be posted on Facebook, KAIT8, and through local radio stations.

Due to a power outage in the area, the PSD core network switch was affected, causing disruptions in network connectivity between buildings. The district's technology department has secured the necessary replacement parts and is actively collaborating with our network switch vendor to restore service. The power outage that took place earlier today damaged our main module. Unfortunately, this will impact our internet and phone services across the district on Friday, March 21. Due to an outage reported in the area, Paragould Municipal Utilities will be temporarily shutting off power to the secondary campus (grades 7-12) in order to resolve the issue. Power is expected to be restored in approximately 30 minutes. Please note that this will impact internet and phone services across the district.
