Today was a BIG day at OGE! We celebrated our Remarkable Rams and students that had a 100% Dojo for the 1st 9 weeks! Tomorrow is our 1st 9 Weeks Awards Ceremony and Cool Kicks Behavior Celebration!

Congratulations to the OGE September Citizens of the Month! So proud of this group of students for being positive examples in our community.

Mrs. Tonya and Mrs. Marsha's classes are enjoying a story from Mr. Dustin Rumsey from Pay it Forward Paragould! He is talking to us about bullying.

Congratulations to Dani Mitchell and Charly Vance for being cast in the upcoming production of The Nightmare Before Christmas. Dani will be playing the role of Barrel and Charly will be a Halloween Town Resident. Way to go, girls!!

World’s Finest Chocolate candy bars have been delivered! Don’t forget to return your child’s permission slip if you would like to participate in our PTO fundraiser. Boxes of candy bars will be distributed Monday.

The Arkansas Beef Council did a cooking presentation with 20 Remarkable Rams today. The amazing chefs enjoyed cooking (and eating) tacos, steak stir fry, cheeseburger mac, roast beef rollups, and heart beef stew.

We are so excited about our OGE READS! kickoff this afternoon. Please check your child's backpack for some exciting information about the program. Inside their backpack, you will also find a copy of the book Miss Daisy is Crazy! that it theirs to keep. Happy Reading!

Mr. Wayne taught Flag Etiquette to our 4th Grade students. Mr. Wayne served in the Navy for 20 years.

Congratulations to Charli Hinkle and her pony, Peanut. They won 2nd place in the pony class at the Greene County Fair and Reserve Grand Champion. Way to go! Charli is in Mrs. Eastep's 2nd grade class.

PTO is looking for new parents to help fill the spots of the current PTO Officers. Our next PTO meeting is September 5th at 4:30 pm in the library.
