These preschoolers have been working hard on an extremely important skill — self-help skills. Since returning from Christmas break, they’ve been learning how to “make their beds” all on their own!
Sure, it would be quicker for an adult to do it for them — but that would be a missed opportunity. When children are given responsibility, they feel empowered and capable. This small task builds confidence, independence, and pride in their classroom.
